That's Amore

Loved spending this Sunday with Nana and the family. After Sunday mass we stopped by the cemetery to visit Kev's grandfather's grave then picked up lunch to share. Cousin Mike and his girlfriend were already there when we arrived, they were making Nana extra comfy with pillows, padding for her bed and a wedge to aid her in sitting up. Bridge showed up a bit later after running the Shamrock Shuffle 8K in downtown Chicago earlier that morning. My favorite part of this day was when Cas decided that we all needed to get up and dance, he had 4 adults  shuffling around in a tiny room while his auntie played music and Nana watched. We listened to Frank "Frankie" Sinatra and finally the most beautiful thing, Nana singing along to Dean Martin's "That's Amore"

Nana listening closely and singing "That's Amore"

We were the last to leave  and as we enjoyed the last moments with Nana that day she gave me this wonderful smile which just makes me want to sing  .  .  .    when the moon hits your eyes like a big pizza pie, that's amore… when the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, that's Amore!!!
